A municipal stewardship recognition program that:
- Creates healthier yards, parks, and schools
- Renews natural systems and plant communities for birds
- Tracks and measures environmental impacts individually and township-wide
- Enhances community pride and awareness
- Implements stormwater best practices and fulfills permit requirements
- Saves money through the creation of sustainable habitat
- Encourages nature just beyond the back door
