ANNUAL PURIM CARNIVAL AT OHEV SHALOM OF BUCKS COUNTY

Ohev Shalom of Bucks County will host its Annual Purim Carnival on February 25, 2018 from 10:30 AM until 1:00 PM. For families with preschool age children Show More...and children in the Celebrations program, the carnival starts at 10:30 AM. The event starts at 11:15 AM for Hebrew school students and their families. This will be an exciting event with fun for all ages. The Ohev Shalom Purim Carnival will feature a moonbounce, an obstacle course, a sensory friendly room, and face painting. Children will also be able to win prizes and play games. The carnival will feature $1 and $2 cash only food concession.
The Purim Carnival will take place at Ohev Shalom of Bucks County on 944 Second Street Pike in Richboro, PA. Wristbands can be purchased pre-sale or at the door on the day of the carnival. Wristbands cost $20 per person or can be sold in groups of two at $36 per pair. Please make checks payable to Ohev Shalom PTO. Each wristband includes all ticketed attractions. Attraction tickets are available at the door for 4 for $1.

OHEV SHALOM PRESENTS SHUSAN'S GOT TALENT FAMILY PURIM CELEBRATION

Ohev Shalom of Bucks County will host a Purim talent competition called "Shusan's Got Talent" on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 6 PM until 8 PM. The Show More...talent show will feature extremely talented congregants with local judges. The celebration features complimentary dinner and activities: pre-Purim feast Shusan style from 6 PM until 8 PM, and the Megillah Reading with the "Shusan's Got Talent" competition at 7 PM. Enjoy complementary Hamantoshen, an art station for the children after dinner, and a selfie station. Although the event is free, guests are welcome to become sponsors. For those who wish to become sponsors, there are several levels of sponsorship:
- Talent Sponsor for $18
- Celebrity Sponsor for $40
- Megillah Reading Sponsor for $54
- Celebration Sponsor for $118

In 1973, fresh from graduate school and the new chair of the art department at Bucks County Community College, Bruce Katsiff Show More...set out with his large-format camera to get to know his neighbors in Lumberville and Point Pleasant, PA. These carefully composed photographs reveal the intimate character of village life, and remain powerful today for their balance of emotion and technical precision. Bruce Katsiff: River Town Portraits 1973-1983 is timed to coincide with a new monograph with essays by curator Liz K. Sheehan; Jeffrey Marshall, Director of the Heritage Conservancy; and an appreciation by Jo Katsiff.
